President Zardari Visits CMH, Slams Indian Aggression as Threat to Regional Peace
President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Rawalpindi to inquire about the health of soldiers and civilians injured in the recent Indian attacks along the Line of Control.
Accompanied by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Commander 10 Corps, President Zardari expressed his appreciation for the sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces. “The entire Pakistani nation salutes the bravery of our soldiers and civilians,” he said.
While addressing the media during the visit, President Zardari strongly condemned India’s hostile actions, labeling them as extremist and a serious danger to regional peace. He said that the Hindutva-driven agenda of the Modi government is destabilizing South Asia.
“The Modi-led regime is misusing aggression against Pakistan to serve domestic political objectives. We will never tolerate any compromise on Pakistan’s sovereignty and national dignity,” he asserted.
President Zardari reiterated Pakistan’s readiness to respond firmly to any aggression. “Our armed forces and people stand united and vigilant. We possess every capability to deliver a strong and befitting response.”
He also acknowledged the medical staff at CMH for their dedication in treating the wounded, calling their service “a source of national pride.”
