PM Shehbaz Sharif Arrives in Saudi Arabia to Attend Future Investment Initiative Conference

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has departed for Saudi Arabia to participate in the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) Conference in Riyadh, a global platform bringing together leaders, investors, and policymakers to shape the future of the world economy.

According to the Foreign Office, this year’s conference focuses on innovation, sustainability, economic inclusion, and geopolitical shifts, offering Pakistan a vital opportunity to showcase its economic vision and investment potential.

The Prime Minister is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, the Minister of Finance, and the Minister of Information, along with senior government officials.

During his visit, PM Shehbaz Sharif will hold meetings with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, as well as other Saudi and international investors, to discuss bilateral trade, energy cooperation, and manpower export.

Officials said the meetings aim to strengthen economic ties and attract greater Saudi investment in Pakistan’s energy and infrastructure sectors.

The visit comes shortly after Saudi Arabia’s announcement of a $1 billion oil facility and $5 billion deposit rollover for Pakistan, signaling deepening economic relations between the two brotherly nations.
