PM Shehbaz and COAS Visit Frontline Troops at Pasrur Cantonment in Sialkot
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif made a significant visit to the Pasrur Cantonment in Sialkot, where he met with officers and soldiers engaged in the ongoing Operation Binyan-e-Marsous. The prime minister, accompanied by high-ranking cabinet members, appreciated the dedication, professionalism, and sacrifice of the armed forces in defending the homeland.
The Prime Minister was received by Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, and Corps Commander Sialkot. Also present were Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal.
Speaking to the troops, PM Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to their relentless service and emphasized the government’s full support for the armed forces. He also expressed pride in the unity between the civilian and military leadership in safeguarding national sovereignty.
PM Shehbaz is expected to visit Pakistan Air Force and Navy installations in the upcoming days. His interaction with the troops will be aired on Pakistan Television (PTV) this evening.
