The Peshawar High Court has granted a one-month protective bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Senator Faisal Javed, allowing him time to appear before the relevant courts.

The case was heard by a bench comprising Justice Sahibzada Asadullah and Justice Kamran Hayat Miankhel. Faisal Javed had filed a petition seeking details of the cases registered against him.

During the hearing, the Assistant Attorney General informed the court that 16 FIRs have been registered against Faisal Javed, but there is no ongoing case under the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). Similarly, the NAB’s Special Prosecutor confirmed that there is no inquiry against him.

Justice Sahibzada Asadullah remarked, “We are giving you time. Appear before the relevant courts.”
