Pakistan’s Six-Member Squad to Compete in World Athletics Championship Tokyo

A six-member Pakistan squad is set to participate in the World Athletics Championship in Tokyo, beginning September 13. According to Pakistan Athletics Federation, Gold Medalist Arshad Nadeem will represent the country alongside female athlete Tameen Khan.
The squad also includes Coach Salman Iqbal Butt and Dr. Ali Sher Bajwa, while Federation officials Brigadier (R) Wajahat Hussain Sahi and Lt. Col. Shah will accompany the team to Tokyo.
With two Pakistani athletes competing together on such a grand stage, hopes for sporting excellence have risen high. All eyes are especially on Arshad Nadeem, who aims to bring glory to Pakistan once again.
