Pakistan’s globally renowned Himalayan Pink Salt has earned international recognition after being highlighted in an award-winning Brazilian soap. The soap, under the Savana Amazônica brand from Boa Vista, Roraima, secured the Global Innovation Award at the Women in Agritech – Global Summit of Women in Agribusiness and Biotechnology, held in Belgium from September 24 to 27.

The innovative product blends Amazonian biodiversity with Pakistan’s Himalayan Pink Salt, winning accolades for its sustainable production methods and unique combination of natural resources.

Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan welcomed the recognition, calling it a milestone for Pakistan’s trade image. He described Himalayan Pink Salt as “a natural treasure symbolizing both cultural heritage and economic potential,” emphasizing its growing role in global wellness and cosmetic markets.

The minister noted that the achievement reflects Pakistan’s emerging position in international markets, particularly in health and beauty sectors, while also creating opportunities to strengthen trade partnerships with Brazil and beyond.

Experts believe the award reinforces Pakistan’s potential as a trusted global supplier of natural, mineral-rich resources, with Himalayan Pink Salt continuing to make headlines in skincare, food, and wellness industries worldwide.
