Pakistan’s first lunar rover mission is set to launch in 2028. SPARCO (Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission) has announced a nationwide competition for naming the lunar rover.
According to SPARCO’s spokesperson, citizens are encouraged to submit their suggestions for the rover’s name and become part of history. The individual who proposes the best name will receive a reward of one lakh rupees.
This announcement marks a major milestone in Pakistan’s space research and paves the way for more ambitious space missions in the future.
