Pakistan’s first “Coablation” cancer treatment begins in Punjab

Punjab has marked a historic milestone in healthcare as Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz inaugurated Pakistan’s first “Coablation” cancer treatment center at Mayo Hospital, Lahore.
The cutting-edge technology, imported from China, uses electric heat to destroy affected tissues. Unlike conventional surgery, the Coablation technique is less painful and ensures a faster recovery.
Doctors at Mayo Hospital have already successfully treated two patients suffering from lung and breast cancer, calling it a breakthrough in cancer treatment.
Medical experts described the project as a landmark achievement, providing new hope to cancer patients in Pakistan.
