In a remarkable tale of digital tracking and international cooperation, the Jhelum police successfully recovered and returned a pair of Apple AirPods to British vlogger Lord Miles — months after the device was reportedly stolen during his visit to Dubai.

According to early reports, the wireless earbuds were stolen by an Indian national in the UAE and later unknowingly brought to Pakistan by an overseas Pakistani who purchased them secondhand.

Lord Miles, known for his daring adventures across the globe, tracked the stolen item via Apple’s location services. The AirPods appeared in a Jhelum neighborhood, prompting the vlogger to post an appeal on X (formerly Twitter), requesting assistance from Pakistani authorities.

The call for help was noticed by DPO Jhelum Tariq Aziz Sindhu, who swiftly ordered a door-to-door investigation in the identified locality. Within days, the individual using the AirPods was located, and upon understanding the situation, he voluntarily returned them.

Lord Miles later flew to Pakistan to personally receive the AirPods, which were officially handed over to him at the DPO’s office. The incident has been widely praised online as a successful example of how local police and global tech tools can work together to solve digital property crimes.
