In a positive development for global mobility, Pakistani citizens can now enjoy visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 32 countries, as reported by international passport ranking firm Henley & Partners. The Pakistani passport has climbed to the 100th position in 2024, a notable jump from the 113th spot it held in 2021.

This improvement reflects Pakistan’s growing international standing and the success of its diplomatic outreach in recent years.

Additionally, a new agreement between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been finalized, allowing diplomatic and official passport holders to travel between the two nations without requiring a visa. This move is expected to further strengthen bilateral relations and facilitate high-level government interactions.
