Pakistan to Mark 1,500 Years Since Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) Blessed Birth
The Senate of Pakistan has approved a historic resolution to commemorate 1,500 years since the blessed birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). The resolution, presented by PML-N Parliamentary Leader Irfan Siddiqui, reaffirmed the Upper House’s commitment to following the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH) and promoting unity, peace, and harmony in society in accordance with his teachings.
It further called upon the federal and provincial governments to organize respectful and meaningful nationwide celebrations. These events will be designed to highlight the spiritual and historical importance of this extraordinary milestone in Islamic history. The resolution also stressed the need for programs that inspire the younger generation to follow the noble character and principles of the Prophet (PBUH).
