Pakistan Taekwondo Team Dominates 6th Asian Open, Clinches Top Honors
Pakistan’s taekwondo team has claimed a historic victory at the 6th Asian Open Taekwondo Championship held in Indonesia, outperforming teams from 21 countries. With a delegation of 12 players, including 3 women and 9 men, the team displayed extraordinary skill and discipline throughout the tournament.
A highlight of the championship came when Abubakar defeated India’s Aman Kumar to secure a gold medal, further adding to Pakistan’s success. The team earned an impressive 8 medals in total—3 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze—securing their position as the best-performing team at the event.
