Pakistan Stock Exchange Bullish as KSE-100 Index Reaches 78,489.70; Rupee Gains Against Dollar
The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) exhibited a strong bullish trend as trading commenced on Friday morning. The KSE-100 index surged to 78,489.70 points, reflecting a gain of 383.72 points by around 11 am. This rise follows a positive close on Thursday, when the index ended at 78,105.98 points after gaining 228 points following the Independence Day holiday.
In financial news, the Pakistani rupee also showed improvement against the US dollar. The dollar traded at 278.65 in the interbank market, marking a decrease of five paisa during the morning session.
