Pakistan Army Distribute Free Ration Packages to Over 2,500 Families in North Waziristan
Pakistan Army, in collaboration with Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL), has distributed free ration packages to more than 2,500 families in the Shawa Tehsil of North Waziristan. This initiative, part of a larger community support program, aimed to provide essential food supplies to the most vulnerable populations in the region.
The distribution process took place over three days, from August 27 to August 29, covering various villages within the tehsil. On August 27, ration packages were distributed to 590 deserving families in the villages of Lundi Wara, Wali Muhammad Kot, and Attaullah Kot. The following day, 751 families from Kharghai Shidan, Madakhan Kot, Wali Jan Kot, and Upper Shaidan received their packages. Finally, on August 29, families from Ol Jan Kot, Tej Khun, and Muhammad Noor Kot were given the much-needed supplies.
Each ration package included essential items such as flour, ghee, pulses, rice, sugar, and other daily necessities. This initiative was particularly crucial for families in these remote and conflict-affected areas, where access to basic amenities can often be challenging.
