Pakistan women’s cricket team spinner Nashra Sandhu stunned South Africa with a career-best spell of 6 wickets for just 26 runs in the third ODI at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore — a performance that earned her the Player of the Match title and a place in the record books.

With this match-winning effort, Nashra became the fastest Pakistani woman to take 100 ODI wickets, achieving the feat in just 75 matches. She is now only the third Pakistani woman to reach this milestone, following cricket icons Sana Mir and Nida Dar.

Nashra’s 6/26 is also now the second-best bowling figure in the history of Pakistan women’s ODI cricket. The record remains with Sajjida Shah, who took an incredible 7 for 4 against Japan in 2003.

Following the match, Nashra took to social media, stating:
“Truly humbled to reach the milestone of 100 ODI wickets with a player of the match award. I am grateful to my family, teammates, and support staff for their constant support. Looking ahead with gratitude and determination.”

Her performance not only brought joy to fans but also reignited pride in Pakistan’s growing strength in women’s cricket.
