Mysterious Metallic Sphere Discovered in Colombia Sparks UFO Speculation
A strange, metallic sphere has been discovered in the Colombian town of Buga, igniting wild speculation and curiosity among both scientists and UFO enthusiasts.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing the sphere flying in early March before it was recovered by local researchers. Initial findings suggest the object is composed of multiple metallic layers and houses nine smaller “microspheres” inside. What has truly captivated investigators is the complete absence of visible welds or joints — an extremely rare characteristic.
Jose Luis Velazquez, one of the scientists analyzing the object, noted peculiar carvings etched into the sphere’s surface. “It’s a very rare piece,” he stated in a viral video. “I’ve never seen a piece like this.”
While many in the UFO community are treating the find as potential alien technology, scientists are calling for restraint. Dr. Julia Mossbridge, a physicist from the University of San Diego and founder of The Institute for Love and Time (TILT), believes the object could be part of a conceptual art installation rather than something extraterrestrial.
Dr. Mossbridge urged the public to submit such discoveries to organizations like the Galileo Project — a scientific initiative led by Harvard’s Avi Loeb — for proper analysis. “We’re entering a time when we realize we don’t fully understand what’s in our skies,” she added.
Despite her skepticism, Mossbridge acknowledged the global intrigue surrounding aerial anomalies and the need for more open, international research. “The natural human response to the unknown is fear,” she said. “But it’s curiosity and understanding that keep us safe.”
