Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has expressed deep gratitude to the people of Pakistan after the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) secured significant victories in the recent by-elections across Punjab.

Chairing a meeting on Monday, the Chief Minister said that elections are not won through narratives but through performance. “The claims of popularity have collapsed. All the seats we lost in the 2024 general elections have now been won by PML-N,” she stated.

Earlier, in a message of congratulations to the successful members of the National and Provincial Assemblies, Maryam Nawaz said that the chapter of hatred, division, and unrest in politics has come to an end. She added that a new era of service and development has begun in Pakistan.

“The times have changed. The priorities of the public have shifted. Pakistan is now moving towards progress,” she said.

She further noted that the clear victory of PML-N reflects the people’s desire to accelerate the journey of development. According to her, the voters have delivered a decisive verdict: only those who deliver will earn the public’s vote.

“The ballot box has spoken — Pakistan does not want chaos; it wants a bright future,” the Chief Minister declared.
