Mardan Teen’s Organ Donation Sparks National Tribute, KP Govt Names Road, Adds to Curriculum & Gifts Umrah

In a powerful gesture of compassion, 14-year-old Jawad Khan from Mardan donated his organs after a tragic accident, saving five lives. His family’s decision touched hearts across Pakistan and was recognized by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government in a rare tribute.
Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur announced that a road and hospital in Mardan will be named after Jawad Khan. At a special ceremony held at the CM House, Jawad’s father was made the honorary guest of honor. The CM further announced that Jawad’s story will be officially included in the provincial school curriculum to inspire generations.
In addition, the government will sponsor Umrah for the bereaved family — a gesture that honors their selfless decision and reinforces a culture of compassion and heroism in Pakistan.
