KPK Government Announces Early Salary and Pension Disbursement Before Eid-ul-Adha

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has given a much-awaited relief to its employees by announcing the early disbursement of salaries and pensions before Eid-ul-Adha. All government employees and pensioners will receive their payments by May 30, 2025.

The provincial Finance Department has issued an official directive to all departments, stating that since June 1 falls on a Sunday, salaries and pensions should be released on the last working day of the month.

The decision is aimed at easing financial stress and enabling smooth Eid preparations for public servants.

Meanwhile, talks between Pakistan and the IMF regarding Budget 2025-26 have concluded, with discussions on tax relief for salaried individuals and industries, and reduction in both development and non-development expenditures.
