KP Government Distributes Compensation to Families of Buner Flood Victims

The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has initiated the process of providing financial assistance to the families of flood martyrs in Buner. According to details, Provincial Minister for Sports, Syed Fakhar Jehan, distributed compensation cheques among the families in Bishonai.

He stated that, as per the announcement of Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, each martyr’s family will receive Rs. 2 million.

Deputy Commissioner Buner, Kashif Qayyum, confirmed that the district recorded 218 verified deaths due to the devastating floods. He assured that by Tuesday 5 PM, all affected families would have received their compensation.

The initiative is being seen as a significant relief effort by the provincial government for the affected families.
