KP Employees Set to Strike Against Provincial Budget Over DRA Dispute

In an emergency meeting of AGIGA Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the non-political president of Wahdat-e-Asatiza, Mr. Bilal Ahmed, stated that the federally approved Disparity Reduction Allowance (DRA) will be secured at all costs.

He emphasized that there will be no compromise on the rights of teachers and other government employees, and every constitutional and legal means will be used to ensure justice.

AGIGA KP announced a strong protest in front of all district press clubs on June 19, 2025, and a sit-in in front of the provincial assembly on June 23.

Chairman AGIGA KP, Mr. Wazir Zada, said that the strength of teachers lies in their unity and they will not back down under any pressure.
