KP Education Dept Orders Scrutiny of All Official Vehicles

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department has ordered a detailed investigation into all vehicles under its use, including those assigned to subordinate institutions. The Secretary of Education has been instructed by the Provincial Education Minister to compile a list of all allocated vehicles, including details of users and usage duration.

Officials who are not authorized to use departmental vehicles will have them recalled immediately. Furthermore, complete records of fuel consumption and maintenance expenses have been sought. Departments collaborating with Education and project-based vehicle users have also been asked to submit details.

According to sources, the digitization process of vehicle records has begun. Strict action will be taken against any institution providing false information. Vehicles being used by officers of other departments or those transferred out will also be retrieved without delay.
