KP Cabinet Condemns Indian Aggression, Urges National Unity with Imran Khan’s Inclusion

An emergency meeting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial cabinet was held on Wednesday under the leadership of Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur to address the alarming situation following India’s unprovoked aggression. The meeting was attended by key government officials, including the Speaker and Opposition Leader of the Provincial Assembly, top administrative and police officers, and field officers via video link.
The cabinet condemned India’s targeting of civilians, terming it a clear violation of international law. Fateha was offered for martyrs, and prayers were held for the injured. The cabinet pledged complete support for the rehabilitation of affected civilians and declared unwavering support to Pakistan’s armed forces.
Advisor to CM on Information Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif stated that the cabinet reaffirmed its readiness to defend every inch of the homeland. The Chief Minister emphasized that martyrdom is the highest honor in Islam and referenced the prophecy of Ghazwa-e-Hind, expressing religious and patriotic zeal.
In a significant statement, the cabinet stressed the necessity of involving PTI founder Imran Khan in national consultations, describing him as the most popular leader capable of uniting the nation. The cabinet warned of Indian PM Modi’s destabilizing policies and urged the international community to intervene. Solidarity was also expressed with the people of Kashmir and Punjab.
The meeting ended with a firm resolve to maintain internal unity, stand firm against terrorism, and prioritize Pakistan’s defence above all political differences.
