Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer ul Azeem: Only Islamic Revolution Can Save Pakistan

Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General, Ameer ul Azeem, addressing a training camp, declared that Pakistan’s ruling elite have always resisted an independent judiciary and constitutional supremacy, while the establishment continues to impose its own people.
He stressed that Quran and Sunnah-based governance is the only path to prosperity and success for Pakistan. Yet, in 78 years, the country has not witnessed even a single day of true Islamic rule. Courts, parliament, and power centers, he said, operate against the commandments of Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.
Highlighting the historic struggle, he reminded that Jamaat-e-Islami led efforts to include the Objectives Resolution in the Constitution, and due to public and scholars’ pressure, the 1973 Constitution was achieved — a major national victory. If implemented fully, it can make Pakistan globally respected.
Ameer ul Azeem criticized PML-N and PPP, saying both parties have deceived the people by pretending to be opponents, while in reality, their interests have always aligned. He called on the people to unite and break this “evil alliance” for the country’s future.
