Israel Accused of Using Banned Weapons as Gaza Death Toll Rises
The Gaza Health Department has accused Israeli forces of using banned weapons that disintegrate human bodies, leaving no trace of the deceased. Director of Health Services revealed this alarming fact amid ongoing airstrikes that continue to wreak havoc in Gaza.
In the northern town of Beit Lahia, 10 Palestinians were killed in an airstrike, while the total number of deaths in the past 24 hours has reached 48. Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli aggression has claimed the lives of 44,429 Palestinians and injured over 105,250 people.
Meanwhile, Hamas and Fatah leaders are negotiating in Cairo about reopening the Rafah border crossing. However, Israeli forces have intensified their attacks, targeting Jabalia in the north and Abasan al-Kabira in the south.
The UN relief agency UNRWA has also suspended aid delivery through the Kerem Shalom crossing due to security concerns. Reports claim groups attacking aid trucks are allegedly supported by Israel, further worsening the humanitarian crisis.
The international community remains silent as Gaza continues to endure relentless aggression, with no clear end to the suffering in sight.
