Islamabad Court Keeps Arrest Warrants for KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur in Liquor and Arms Case
The District and Sessions Court Islamabad on Saturday heard the liquor and arms recovery case against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. Judicial Magistrate Mubashir Hassan Chishti presided over the hearing.
Gandapur did not appear before the court, after which the magistrate ordered that his arrest warrants remain in effect. The case has now been adjourned until October 4.
It may be recalled that a case had been registered against the KP Chief Minister at Bara Kahu Police Station, involving the recovery of liquor and illegal weapons. The development keeps political pressure mounting on Gandapur as the proceedings continue.
