Iran Rejects U.S. Pressure, Pezeshkian Tells Trump, “Do Whatever the Hell You Want”

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has taken a firm stance against U.S. pressure, rejecting any negotiations under threats. In a bold statement, Pezeshkian said, “It is unacceptable for us that they (the U.S.) give orders and make threats. I won’t even negotiate with you. Do whatever the hell you want.” His remarks were reported by Iranian state media on Tuesday.

The statement comes amid rising tensions after former U.S. President Donald Trump hinted at both military action and negotiations as options for dealing with Iran. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei also reiterated that Tehran would not succumb to American bullying.

Iran has significantly accelerated its uranium enrichment program, with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) warning that Iran is enriching uranium up to 60% purity, approaching the 90% required for weapons-grade material. Tehran insists its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, but the U.S. and its allies remain skeptical.

The nuclear dispute reignited after Trump withdrew from the 2015 nuclear deal in 2018 and reinstated severe sanctions on Iran. As Washington continues its “maximum pressure” campaign, Iran appears to be strengthening its resistance, setting the stage for heightened geopolitical tensions.
