India’s Double Standards, Crying Over Jaffer Express, Forgetting Its Own Rajdhani Express Humiliation?

India is aggressively spreading propaganda against Pakistan over the Jaffer Express incident, but it seems to have conveniently forgotten its own worst security failure. On October 27, 2009, Naxalites hijacked the Bhubaneswar-Delhi Rajdhani Express near Jhargram, West Bengal.

Over 300 armed militants stopped the train and took hundreds of passengers hostage. For five hours, the Indian authorities remained helpless, failing to respond effectively. In the end, the attackers escaped unchallenged, exposing India’s weak security infrastructure to the world.

This event was a major embarrassment for India, revealing its security loopholes. Ironically, the same India is now trying to exploit the Jaffer Express incident for anti-Pakistan propaganda while ignoring its own past failures.
