The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest Test player rankings, resulting in a reshuffling of positions among top cricketers. Pakistan’s captain, Babar Azam, has experienced a slight decline, dropping one place to fourth in the Test batting rankings.

New Zealand’s Kane Williamson continues to dominate the Test batting rankings, maintaining his position at the top. England’s Joe Root holds onto the second spot, while his compatriot Harry Brook has surged four places to secure third position.

Other notable changes in the rankings include New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell, Australia’s Steve Smith, and India’s Rohit Sharma, who have each dropped one position, now standing at fifth, sixth, and seventh places respectively.

The Test bowling rankings have remained stable, with no changes in the top 10. India’s Ravichandran Ashwin retains his first-place position, demonstrating consistent performance.
