Colors have a profound impact on our emotions, mood, and overall well-being. Experts believe that color therapy can be used to reduce stress and even treat certain ailments. Dr. Um Raheel discussed this in a special Sehri Transmission on Aaj News.

She explained that people with anger issues should avoid red as it increases blood circulation and intensifies emotions. Instead, they should surround themselves with white and green, which promote calmness and positivity. On the other hand, those who feel sluggish and low in energy can benefit from red, as it stimulates vitality.

Dr. Um Raheel emphasized that even if we don’t consciously believe in color psychology, colors still influence our behavior. For example, we naturally prefer dark colors in winter and lighter shades in summer. Similarly, our choice of colors often reflects our emotions during happy or sad occasions.

She further stated that black absorbs light, making it unsuitable for hot weather, whereas lighter shades help keep the body cool.
