Pakistani Paralympic athlete Haider Ali made his nation proud by winning the bronze medal in the Men’s Discus Throw competition at the Paralympics held in Paris. Hailing from Gujranwala, Haider’s outstanding performance came during his sixth and final attempt, where he threw his season-best distance of 52.54 meters.

The competition was intense, with Haider’s first throw registering at 52.28 meters. Unfortunately, his second to fifth attempts were wasted, but the determined athlete made a spectacular comeback in his final throw, securing the bronze.

Haider Ali, who has cerebral palsy (CP), continues to inspire with his achievements on the global stage. CP is a condition affecting movement and posture, but Haider has consistently shown that no obstacle is too big for him. His journey to the Paralympic podium is a testament to his strength, perseverance, and resilience.
