Gold Prices Soar to Rs359,300 per Tola in Pakistan, Silver Also Rises
Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward march on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, as the rate of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs1,500, reaching a staggering Rs359,300, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The 10-gram price of 24-karat gold also witnessed an increase of Rs1,114, settling at Rs308,041. Meanwhile, the rate for 22-karat gold (10 grams) climbed to Rs282,381, after a gain of Rs1,022.
On the international front, gold prices gained $13, hitting $3,366 per ounce, pointing to a bullish trend in the global bullion market.
Silver prices followed suit with a sharp jump. The price of 24-karat silver per tola increased by Rs39, reaching Rs4,010, while 10 grams of silver rose by Rs33 to settle at Rs3,437. Globally, silver prices gained $0.39, reaching $37.77 per ounce.
This significant rise reflects the continued global and domestic economic uncertainties, pushing investors toward safe-haven assets like gold and silver.
