Gold prices have skyrocketed to historic levels both internationally and in Pakistan.

In the international bullion market, the price of gold rose by $60 per ounce, reaching a new high of $3,540. This global surge directly impacted the local Pakistani market, where the price of 24K gold increased by Rs. 6,000 per tola, setting a new record of Rs. 376,700 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs. 5,144, reaching Rs. 322,959. Analysts attribute this rise to global economic uncertainty and investors turning to gold as a safe-haven asset.
