Gold Prices Slip in Pakistan as Market Sentiment Remains Cautious

On Saturday, August 9, 2025, Pakistan’s gold prices registered a minor decline, with the 24-karat gold rate dropping by Rs300 per tola to Rs362,400, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The 10-gram 24K gold rate fell by Rs257 to Rs310,699, while the price per gram dropped by Rs236 to Rs28,481.

Silver followed the same downward trend, with 24K silver per tola falling by Rs9 to Rs4,064 and 10 grams dipping by Rs7 to Rs3,484.

Internationally, gold remained largely stable at $3,397 per ounce, with a marginal $3 rise, while silver edged down by $0.09 to $38.31 per ounce.

Analysts attribute the local market’s slight pullback to cautious international bullion sentiment and mild currency fluctuations, indicating temporary consolidation in the precious metals market amid global economic uncertainties.
