Gold Prices Rebound in Pakistan Following Significant Drop

Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a notable increase on Friday, reversing a substantial decline observed in the previous session. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola surged by Rs1,000, reaching Rs251,500.

In addition, the price of 10 grammes of 24-karat gold rose by Rs858 to stand at Rs215,621. Similarly, the price of 10 grammes of 22-karat gold saw an increase, reaching Rs197,652. The international gold market also saw a rise, with gold priced at $2,373 per ounce, marking an increase of $3 during the day. Despite the increase in gold prices, the rate of 24-karat silver remained steady at Rs2,860 per tola.

This recent fluctuation in gold prices highlights the volatile nature of precious metal markets and reflects broader economic trends influencing both local and international markets.
