Gold Prices Reach Record High of Rs266,300 Per Tola in Pakistan

The gold prices in Pakistan continue to climb up to new heights on Saturday, driven by an increase in international rates. The price of 24-karat gold per tola shot up by another Rs400, reaching Rs266,300 in the local market.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold of 24 karats also registered a rise, increasing by Rs343 to settle at Rs228,309.  The increase in local prices mirrors global trends. In the international market, the price of gold rose to $2,577 per ounce, marking a $11 drop during the trading day, as per the APGJSA.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable at Rs2,950.
