The price of gold in Pakistan saw a further increase for the second day in a row, reflecting a consistent upward trend in the market. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs300, setting a new rate of Rs261,000 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also experienced a rise, increasing by Rs257 to stand at Rs223,765. This persistent increase follows the previous all-time high reported on July 18, after a brief dip due to the Ashura break.

While the local market sees these shifts, international gold prices have remained steady at $2,512 per ounce. The silver rates in Pakistan, however, have held stable at Rs2,950 per tola, offering some consistency amid the fluctuating gold market.
