In a groundbreaking address at the National Ulema Convention, Prime Minister and Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir delivered a powerful message against extremism and corruption. He described “spread of corruption on earth” as the gravest sin, asserting that the Pakistan Army is committed to eradicating such corruption as mandated by divine will.

General Munir condemned terrorism and extremism, emphasizing that no external power can undermine Pakistan’s strength. He also urged the scholars and clergy to advocate for unity and moderation in the society, highlighting the importance of maintaining peace and resisting division.

The General expressed his deep concern over the ongoing violence in Palestine and Gaza, calling for a stronger national defense and unity within Pakistan. He criticized the misconceptions about the two-nation theory and reiterated the nation’s commitment to its ideals and values.

In his concluding remarks, General Munir invoked the teachings of Allama Iqbal and stressed the need to uphold Pakistani values against foreign influences, underscoring the resilience and unity of the nation.
