Gaza’s Healthcare Collapses Amid Blood Shortage and Hunger Crisis

Gaza’s already fragile healthcare system has now reached the brink of collapse as a severe blood shortage takes hold. Due to Israel’s continued blockade, widespread malnutrition has rendered most Palestinians too weak to donate blood, further straining hospitals overwhelmed with wounded civilians.
Al-Shifa Hospital reports that many donors faint immediately after giving blood due to dehydration. With airstrikes targeting medical centers, such as Sheikh Radwan Health Centre, and critical fuel and medical supplies blocked, hospitals are shutting down.
Meanwhile, starvation is spreading. At least 193 Palestinians have died from hunger, and over 1,560 have been killed while seeking food aid. The humanitarian front (GHF), criticized for politicizing aid, has also seen its operations turn deadly due to Israeli gunfire near aid centers.
Over 61,000 Palestinians have died, including 18,000+ children. Calls for a ceasefire continue as reports emerge of an impending full military reoccupation of Gaza by Israeli forces.
The world watches in silence, as Gaza bleeds, starves, and suffers with no escape.
