Gaza Still Bleeding, Ceasefire Brings No Relief for Palestinians

Despite a declared ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, Gaza’s humanitarian crisis continues to deteriorate, with thousands of Palestinians facing starvation, dehydration, and displacement.

According to Al Jazeera, the situation has not improved even after the truce. Families across southern, central, and northern Gaza remain trapped in dire conditions — many are living in makeshift tents, while others have taken shelter in cemeteries, which they say are now the “safest” places left.

A local resident, Abu Ammara, shared that 12 members of his family live in a single small tent and often go entire days without food. He said returning home isn’t possible, as their neighborhood has been declared an “unsafe zone” by Israeli forces.

The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that around 15,000 Palestinians urgently need medical care, yet the Rafah border crossing remains closed. Only 41 severely injured patients were evacuated yesterday.

Meanwhile, Gaza’s Health Ministry announced that total deaths from Israeli attacks have reached 68,280, with over 170,000 injured. Even after the ceasefire, 89 Palestinians have been killed and 317 wounded in ongoing incidents.
