Gaddafi Stadium Revamped for Champions Trophy, Ready for Grand Inauguration

Lahore’s iconic Gaddafi Stadium is now ready to host the ICC Champions Trophy after an impressive renovation. Completed in just four months, the stadium now features modern seating, upgraded dressing rooms, and hospitality boxes designed to enhance the experience for players and spectators.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi personally inspected the revamped venue, meeting with workers and thanking them for their dedication. As a token of appreciation, he invited them to watch the upcoming Tri-Nation Series match on February 8, promising to sit alongside them during the game.

Expressing his pride in the transformation, Naqvi stated, “The Champions Trophy is an honor for Pakistan, and we are committed to making it a grand success.” The renovations were carried out in collaboration with FWO, NESPAK, and other stakeholders, ensuring state-of-the-art facilities.

With its world-class amenities and a fresh look, Gaddafi Stadium is set to offer an unforgettable cricketing spectacle, marking a new era for sports infrastructure in Pakistan.
