Five Terrorists Killed during Separate Operations in KP

The Pakistan military has confirmed the killing of five terrorists affiliated with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted in Peshawar and North Waziristan on June 15 and 16.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the first operation took place in Peshawar, where four militants were neutralised following a fierce exchange of fire. Two of the terrorists were identified as Haris and Baseer.
A second operation in North Waziristan resulted in the death of another terrorist. Security forces recovered a cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives from both locations.
The ISPR stated that the militants were involved in various acts of terrorism across the region and were allegedly supported by foreign hostile elements. Ongoing sanitisation operations are being carried out to ensure the area is completely cleared of remaining threats.
