Five Killed in Daylight Shooting in Peshawar’s Tehkal Area

At least five people lost their lives in a shocking firing incident in Peshawar’s Tehkal area on Saturday. Police confirmed that unknown assailants ambushed a car, opening fire and fleeing the scene.

Eyewitnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots and described the victims’ car as riddled with bullets. The attack occurred in broad daylight, spreading panic among residents.

A senior police official revealed that law enforcement teams have been dispatched to the area, and checkpoints have been established on Warsak Road and nearby locations. “Efforts are underway to apprehend the attackers,” the official added.

Police have categorized the areas around Warsak Road as critical and have increased patrolling to prevent similar incidents. The motive behind the attack remains unknown, but investigations are in progress.
