FC Soldier Abducted by Militants in Tank, Sparks Security Concerns

In a troubling incident in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Tank district, militants abducted a Frontier Constabulary (FC) soldier from the Shadi Khel area under the jurisdiction of Gul Imam Police Station.

Sources confirmed that the FC personnel was on leave and visiting his hometown when the incident occurred. The abducted soldier was posted in FC Bannu, Sardi Khel Jani Khel.

Security forces have launched an investigation and initial search operations are underway in the surrounding areas. The abduction has raised concerns among locals and highlighted the persistent threat of militancy in southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

No militant group has claimed responsibility so far.
