Fazlur Rehman Sounds Alarm Over Pakistan’s Economy, Extends Support for Palestine
In a seminar held in Islamabad, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed deep concerns over the deteriorating state of Pakistan’s economy, describing it as “out of control.” He emphasized that the hardships faced by the nation are a result of not valuing the country properly. “The situation of our country is not good. We have not valued this country, and as a result, we are facing hardships today,” Rehman remarked.
Highlighting the significance of voting, he urged the nation to use their votes wisely, stating, “Vote is our weapon and power, but it does not mean to use the power in a wrong way.” Rehman further added that success comes through hard work, determination, and embracing the truth, even in the face of adversity.
Earlier, while addressing the Khatm-e-Nabuwat Conference at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore, Rehman voiced strong support for the people of Palestine and commended the sacrifices made by the Mujahideens of Hamas. He reaffirmed that Israel can never be recognized by Pakistan. “The Mujahideens of Hamas have valiantly challenged Israel by giving sacrifices. Israel can never be recognized,” he stated.
