JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has strongly condemned the Israeli attack in Doha, calling it an assault on the sovereignty of the Muslim and Arab world. He stated that the attack came as Hamas leaders gathered to discuss a ceasefire proposal by the US President.

Fazlur Rehman claimed that Western air forces, including intelligence and refueling aircraft, were part of the operation. Reports suggest that the attempt to target Hamas leader Khaled Mashal and other top figures failed. He urged the OIC to provide full protection to Hamas leadership so they can continue leading the struggle for the liberation of Palestine and Al-Aqsa.

He criticized Israel for relying solely on airstrikes targeting civilians, women, and children, while the people of Gaza face severe shortages of food and water due to months of blockade. He blamed the silence of Muslim countries for worsening the crisis.

The JUI-F Chief also expressed full support for the Global Samud Flotilla activists, preparing in Tunisia with over 50 ships to break the Gaza blockade. He called the blockade a “clear war crime” and vowed that the sacrifices of Palestinians will never go in vain.
