Elon Musk has once again pushed the boundaries of technology with his latest creation, the faceless humanoid robot ‘Optimus’. Unveiled at a Tesla event, these life-size robots have been dubbed “autonomous assistants” capable of performing a wide range of tasks, from picking up parcels to babysitting children. Musk proudly introduced the bots in a video posted on his X account, where they were seen performing household chores like watering plants and playing games with children.

Musk emphasized the versatility of Optimus, explaining that the robots could be used as personal assistants, teachers, or even as companions for simple tasks like walking the dog or mowing the lawn. Set to be deployed in Tesla factories next year, Optimus will be available to consumers by 2026. While no exact price has been revealed, Musk previously hinted that the cost would be under $20,000, making it more affordable than many expect for such advanced technology.

As with any revolutionary invention, there has been a mix of excitement and concern surrounding the introduction of these faceless robots, with many eagerly anticipating their real-world applications.
