The Balochistan Election Tribunal has officially de-notified Zia Lango, the provincial Home Minister, following an election complaint filed by Mir Saeed Longo. The tribunal, presided over by Justice Abdullah Baloch, ordered re-voting at seven key polling stations in Gizag and Johan. This decision nullifies Zia Lango’s appointment as the Minister of Interior, casting uncertainty over his political future.

In a separate case, the Election Tribunal dismissed a petition challenging the eligibility of Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti from PB-10. The petition, filed by Nawabzada Ghoram Bugti, questioned Bugti’s eligibility to serve as Chief Minister. The tribunal, led by Justice Rozi Khan, upheld Bugti’s eligibility, maintaining his position in office. Advocate General Balochistan Asif Ali represented the government in this case, defending Bugti’s candidacy.
