District Police Officer (DPO) Zahoor Babar Afridi convened an important meeting today with the police subordinates from all police stations in Mardan. The meeting, held at the DPO office, focused on enhancing public service and administrative efficiency within the police force.

In his address, DPO Afridi highlighted the crucial role that police subordinates play as the first point of contact between the public and the police. He emphasized that their behavior directly impacts the public image of the police. “You are the first interaction that the public has with our force. Your conduct shapes the perception of the entire police department. It is your duty to interact with the public with courtesy and professionalism,” he stated.

Afridi stressed the importance of listening attentively to complaints and reminded the police subordinates that their primary objective is to provide relief to the public. He also underscored the need for maintaining the honor of the police uniform and warned against any misconduct that could tarnish the department’s reputation.

The DPO issued clear instructions for the police subordinates to expedite data entry into the Police Records Management System (PRMS) and to complete the task by September 25th. “I expect to see clear progress by the end of this period,” he added.

In addition to public dealings and administrative duties, Afridi instructed the clerks to maintain cleanliness and order within police station premises, including mess areas and residential quarters. He emphasized that a clean and organized environment is not only a matter of discipline but also a reflection of their commitment to public service.
