DG ISPR Engages QAU Students on National Security, Propaganda, and Pakistan’s Strategic Response

Director General ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry paid a special visit to Quaid-e-Azam University, where he received a warm welcome from faculty members and students. During an extensive interactive session, the DG ISPR discussed Pakistan’s national security landscape, internal situation, defense affairs, and the professional responsibilities of the Pakistan Army.

He addressed concerns related to social media propaganda and misinformation, explaining the difference between factual information and engineered narratives. He also responded to students’ questions in detail, urging them to adopt a responsible approach when engaging with online content.

The Vice Chancellor appreciated the visit and highlighted the DG ISPR’s earlier statement regarding India, saying the world had witnessed how Pakistan’s armed forces gave a decisive and strategic response, defeating not only India’s military claims but also its advanced technological assertions.

Students and faculty termed the session highly informative, impactful, and confidence-building. Teachers reiterated the message of unity, stating, “We are not Punjabi, Pashtun, Sindhi or Baloch — we are Pakistanis first.” Students expressed full confidence in the armed forces, saying, “The Pakistan Army is part of us, and we stand with them.”
